On September 4th, Networks is merging with a similar, life-giving, Jesus-focused ARC church called The Cause Community Church, located on the Plaza. http://thecausekc.com/
We will be relaunching our church under a new name, and we will be one church with them. This solution is becoming increasingly common throughout the country, as one church with healthy growth and stability will merge with a church that would likely be unable to revitalize all by itself. Pastor Kyle and Liz Turner are the lead pastors of The Cause, and they are humbled and excited by a vision to help the people of this church to fulfill our God-given purpose to reach this community for Jesus.
Our new worship time will be 11:00 am so that the same person can preach at both locations. You’ll notice minor changes right away but many things will stay the same. We are excited to see what God will do!

Andrew & Karen
After pioneering and launching Networks Church on September 18, 2005, Pastor Andrew and Karen Fortner have prayerfully made the difficult decision to no longer be the lead pastors of Networks Church.
They came to this conclusion through a great deal of prayer, and with support from their overseers at the ARC. Andrew and Karen and their family will be using this break to get refreshed and strengthened. The scripture they feel like God is giving our church in this season is this:
Isaiah 43:18-19 Forget about what’s happened; They will be greatly missed, and they have done an incredible work over the years, getting this church off the ground and preparing us for the next stages of kingdom impact in Lee’s Summit. We love you and we thank you for serving us for 6 amazing years!
WHAT’S NEXT?
Often churches would begin a long and difficult process to search for a new pastor. We currently have some financial challenges and it’s likely we couldn’t afford to do that; and even affording another full-time pastor at all would be a major budget challenge. Another option would be to close our doors, but it seems that God is not done with us yet and he has greater things in store.
Instead, we are going to merge with a similar, life-giving, Jesus-focused ARC church called The Cause Community Church, located on the Plaza. http://thecausekc.com/

If you’re searching for a genuine relationship with God and with other people, then now is the time for you to get into a Life Group! A majority of the ministry, discipleship and fellowship at Networks Church takes place in these groups. A Life Group is a group of people who meet on a regular basis for the purpose of connection with God and each other. We offer a wide variety of groups which differ in content and location. Some groups are centered around a Bible study, while others are more fellowship-based or outreach-driven.
Either way, Life Groups are the best way for you to connect at Networks Church. There are three Life Group semesters each year, with a break in-between each. Initial and ongoing training is provided for those in Life Group leadership.
All Life Groups are “Try Before You Buy.” Come to any Life Group at any time and try it out. If you can’t make it to a given meeting, that’s OK.
Getting started is easy: just contact browse through the list and contact the leader of a Life Group.
